Nutri Planet Alliance was proud to be among the key organizations participating in the launch of the “Msitu wa Mama” campaign, a transformative tree-planting initiative dedicated to fostering environmental conservation. This impactful event took place at Hazina Secondary School, where 500 trees were planted as part of the campaign’s mission to combat deforestation and promote a greener future.

The campaign, organized by the Tanzania Environmental Education Association (TEEA), brought together various stakeholders, institutions, and community members committed to sustainable environmental practices. The event was graced by the Deputy Minister for Environment of Tanzania, Mr. Khamisi Hamza Khamisi, who served as the guest of honor. His presence underscored the government’s commitment to environmental conservation and the importance of collective action in addressing climate change.

Also in attendance was the District Commissioner of Dodoma City, Mr. Shekimweri, along with representatives from different organizations and local leaders. Their participation demonstrated a unified effort in promoting environmental stewardship and inspiring the next generation to take proactive steps in preserving nature.

Nutri Planet Alliance remains dedicated to championing environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and community-led initiatives. Through active participation in campaigns like “Msitu wa Mama,” we continue to advocate for reforestation, sustainable land use, and increased environmental awareness among students and the broader community.
